The Carlo Abarth Foundation take on the job to keep the memory of Carlo Abarth alive as well as the myth, as well to bring a closeness to those who were not priviledged to know him.
The 100th birthday of Carlo Abarth was celebrated in november 2008 – an occasion that worldwide brought together many thousands Abarth Fans. For me who traveled this road with him it was a special pleasure to realize how many friends the Abarth Logo and its "spiritual father" Carlo Abarth still have and what fascination it still represents to this day for people of all ages. This is why I have decided, in the frame of the "Carlo Abarth Foundation" to devote all my energy to coordinate the clubs in the sign of the scorpion.
For this purpose we have created new the Homepage of the Carlo-Abarth-Foundation. www.abarth-online.com It will serve in the future not only with basic information about Carlo Abarth, but will also serve as an international Forum for all Abarth Clubs. In that frame each Club can represent its uniqueness and present any upcoming. It can also attract new members and be in touch with other clubs.
Furthermore I would like to make the work of the Carlo-Abarth-Foundation more appearing by innovative developments each year of the Automobile Industry. I would like to present a Prize for the young dedicated technical designers, who like Carlo Abarth once, have dedicated to create Automobiles with technical perfection, but also to create the tick for more driving pleasure.
